I took these the other day and he looked so adorable! All snuggled up on daddy.

Kyne that is! This little boy can talk like a 3yr old…and he copies everything Tayah says (which isn’t always a good thing!).

Some of my faves are:

"I love you, mommy" (or whoever he is talking too). He tells us all he loves us about 20 times each a day.

"I’m sorry" - I love this because he knows why he is saying it…..he is constantly telling Tayah he is sorry for hitting/hurting her!

Some of my not-so-faves:

"I don’t want too"

"I can’t"

"I don’t like it"

"Shut-up!!!!"

He is such a happy baby nowadays…it sorta creeped-up on us…he went from being a fussy little thing, to this smiling happy boy. He loves his mommy & daddy the best, gives us the biggest smiles. He loves to just sit and stare at our faces for long periods. He is so intent on just staring into our eyes….it is so funny.

He does still have some fussy moments, but they are getting fewer and fewer. He slept 11-7 for the last 2 nights….so we hope that continues, or even gets longer. Actually he sleeps 9PM-7AM but the first part (9-11) is in the front room with us and then we wake him at 10:30-ish to eat and then he’s back down for the night.

Rhys had his 2 month pediatrician check-up yesterday (he is almost 2.5 months though). He is 12lb 6oz and 24 inches long (75% and 90%!).

The Dr put him on his front to see how his head control and muscles were. He got right up on his forearms and was moving his legs all around. Dr says "I think he’s gonna be an early roller the way he’s moving his legs and arms"….and whaddya know, he rolls over right then and there! It was too funny.

Anyway he checked-out just perfectly. He was all smiles while waiting for the Dr to arrive….in a wonderful, happy mood. 

We didn’t get any vaccines as so far I am foregoing most if not all of them. Dr gave me his "legal opinion" and then we were on our way!

Kyne and Tayah both threw tantrums on the way out because I didn’t let them have a pop. They got a sticker each, but that wasn’t good enough for them. They both started crying and Kyne threw himself on the floor. Everyone was looking at us….ah, it was fun! Gotta love kids.

We had a lovely time trick or’ treating this year. Kyne and Phoenix enjoyed it a lot more than last year and Tayah looked like a proper little princess in her Cinderella costume. Talon wore his "Venom" costume from Spiderman, Kyne was a dragon and Phoenix was a pirate. Rhys wore a bright orange one-piece romper….but it was kinda cold so he was covered up in the stroller the whole time…..(can we say waste of $?)

Another Halloween to remember!

Here is Kyne and Rhys in the bath at the same age-

I suppose there are similarities, but I think they look very different. I think they all have the same eye shape though! Rhys looks the most like me for sure.

Kyne went to the Dr yesterday…he’s had diarrhea for 5 days and is super-cranky (as noted before). She said he has 5-6 teeth coming in (I knew of 4) and that is most likely causing the diarrhea and runny-nose. He weighed 21lbs 5oz, so although we thought he had lost weight, it looks like he hasn’t. They wanted a stool sample just incase it’s something else but I am not even gonna attempt that unless he gets any worse…it’s not a fun process!

Rhys is doing very well. He slept over 8 hours straight last week (twice) but is now back to 6-7 hours. He is growing so fast, most of his 0-3M clothes don’t fit anymore! He went into size 1 diapers at 4 weeks and is now in size 2’s (as of 7 weeks). He is a big boy that’s for sure!

A post about me…wow! It was my 28th birthday yesterday….I had a lovely day. Saturday Becky took me out to celebrate. We got mani/pedi’s at the salon, went and had dinner & daiquiri’s and then shopping at Target. It was so nice to get away and relax without kids.

Sunday we went to Crit’s for dinner (grilled meat….mmmm, mmmm!).

Monday (my actual birthday) we went out for a late lunch (Ricky took the day off) and then to the mall.

Also on Saturday morning I went and got my hair done. I was there 3 hours! I got it cut, colored and highlighted. It looks so awesome!

What a great birthday weekend! Now the countdown is on for 30!

He has gone back to his old ways His feeding is once again a struggle. Yesterday he pretty much ate and fussed the whole day…I couldn’t even keep track of how much he ate and when, it was just constant little feedings here and there. He didn’t take a proper nap until 5:30pm!

I like to start with the bad (see Kyne’s update) and end with the good - He is smiling a lot now, it is so wonderful to see. Daddy gets the biggest smiles out of him He still sleeps good through the night, but not as good as he was. His average is 6 hours now….it’s just a shame that he wakes at 5AM because there is no getting back to sleep at that hour for us.

For some reason my milk-supply took a crazy nose dive! I am not making half of what he needs. So we’re breastfeeding thru the day and then I top him off with a bottle of expressed breast milk. He actually does pretty well with the breastfeeding….it’s the bottle he starts fussing on. He does get mad that there isn’t enough milk in the boob though! I ordered some Domperidone to get my supply back (it worked wonders for me with Kyne) so I hope that gets here soon. I am pretty much set on weaning after I run out of the Dom…and I am OK with that. I think we’ll get to 3 months and even that I can’t believe. What a roller-coaster it has been!
